Wow, I just rebuilt and relooked at my previous build and the heads up display no longer appears as a standard item - and no decrease in price. What I referenced in my previous reply is a page on land rover usa whereby you choose 110 and select model X - it still shows heads up display as a standard feature under 'infotainment' (click here: 2022 Land Rover Defender | Models | Land Rover USA ). I will check with my salesman to see if my order (awaiting allocation) has changed. // MANTIS //

I think this has been the case for 2020, 2021, and 2022 builds as well. We got zero notice about changes to trims.

Owning another car with HUD, I don’t think it is much of a loss. I find them a distraction with no meaningful utility. When I ordered mine I deliberately didn’t select the model that included the HUD (and the sunroof, which is also a poor imitation of a convertible roof for me, having had both).
