Default Help Needed - Air Conditioning

Good evening,

Hoping there might be some guidance to be found on the forum.

I stopped for gas tonight and when I turned the Defender back on the air conditioning wouldn't work. Not a blowing hot air issue. No air movement at all.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? I don't think it is fuse related based on the one I checked. That said, if anyone knows all the fuses that control the climate system in a 23 Defender 90, that information might be helpful.

UPDATE: The truck seems to have reset itself overnight. Working fine now.

Thanks for any information that this group can supply.

If you are referring to was it in auto climate control mode, yes, I believe it was.

Try to run at fan setting and a/c and see what happens. Software is glitchy on defender, unfortunately...

Thanks for the tip.

I tried that, and it didn't seem to work for me.

Exact same thing just happened to me on MY24 110. Stopped for 10 minutes came out and zero Air movement at all no matter what setting or fan speed. Seems software related so hoping shut down and locking will reset the system.

I’ve gone the first year of ownership without any major issues and hope this won’t turn into one. Minor issues I’ve experienced are the keyless entry not working 20-30% of the time, and the small coolant leak where I have to refill manually every 3-4K miles.

Anyone else had this dead AC issue before?

Happened to my wife recently. Then it figured itself out when it sat for a hour and restarted. Must be a weird software bug.

UPDATE - I locked it and went out 20-30 min later and still no air on manual fan settings. But then I pushed the AC Max and suddenly air started blasting and haven’t had an issue since.
