So after modding my Thule Edge wingbar to the lowest possible height, I started researching how to mount my Hi-Lift extreme jack on the rear.
Will be continued.....
After 7 years of carrying it on all my off-roading excursions, I finally admitted last month after getting home from 3 weeks in Moab... it’s a 40 pound hunk of don’t need. Talk about freeing!
it is 28.16 pounds, 12,77 Kg.
planning to use it primairy for Wheel/Tire replacement, I can leave the standard spare jack at home, also 7Kg
Rear jacking up under the Tow Hooks, Front on or under my future HD Rock Rail
Forgot to mention the Off-Road Base & Handle keeper, another 5 lb...

I've been forced to use one in the field a couple of times; maddeningly unstable, even with the accessory base. They have their place in the universe, but it's not on my rear bumper anymore! I take a little bottle jack; much easier for me to work, a bit easier to store, much safer. Nowhere NEAR as cool looking! YMMV, of course.
