Default Houston shop?

Hey guys. Anyone have a good shop in the Houston area that they trust and recommend? I'm not doing anything crazy, just have some mods in mind that I'd like to get done and wanted that "professional touch" lol

Don’t know about modifications, but from a dealership point of view, avoid Land Rover West Houston and Land Rover Houston Central like a plague.

West Houston took my Defender on a breakfast run to McDonald’s on Dairy Ashford. I caught them using the InControl tracking. Also, their incompetence knows no lows. Took my Defender to them four times for the A pillar flapping noise and they never fixed it. Total clown show and never even got an apology for the breakfast run. In MY vehicle.

Land Rover Houston Central is just as bad. Vehicle sat there for over a week without being looked at and their service guy tried to sell me on almost $1,000 of “required” service before the first interval was even due. Total crooks!

+1 I will never go back to West Houston. But in general all of Houston is a **** hole. Can’t wait to leave this place.

I've never been a big fan of this city, and it's definitely gone downhill recently. But that's another discussion lol.

I was planning on taking it to either Central or West so that sucks to hear your experiences. I hate driving in the areas where Southwest and North are, and Clear Lake is just too far.

I just want to know where all the rich moms in River Oaks are taking their Range Rovers

Well, I love living in Houston. I guess haters will be haters. Back to the OP topic, I think we all have different experiences with different dealers. None is perfect, but I like to give credit where it is due. I have been using JLR West Houston for the past years and they have (for the most part) solved all my issues with efficiency and relatively on time. My Defender is a 2020 - soon out of warranty, so I am interested in alterative shops too. JLR dealer rates are no joke. Houston or not.

Appreciate your input! I may just have to pick one and roll the dice lol. Let us know if you find a good non-dealer shop around here.
