Considering the 22” wheels but would like to put a more aggressive off road tire on them like Nitto Grapplers. Any info is appreciated.

 

I saw a sold Defender-X on 22s with Nitto Ridge?? Grapplers in showroom. I remember they were 285/45s. I was surprised to see them as they're not a factory option. Dealer said it was special for customer. Anyway, I think someone on this site has exact same tire. Run a search on this forum.

 

I don’t have 22” wheels (I have 18” steelies), and I just put on 275/65R18 Nitto Terra Grapplers. There seems to be plenty of room in all height modes. So the math should be pretty straightforward to find the equivalent diameter on 22” wheels.

 

285/45/22 is what i've seen on some 110's at the dealers here. i snapped this pic back when i bought mine. someone working there drives it.

that size looks to be 32.09" diameter. i think the oem tires are right around 32". so the 285/45/22 keeps you super close to stock measurements.

 

Has anyone on the Forum mounted these on 22’s that would know if they are clear on all suspension settings?
