How long does a Defender sit after it is built to be put on a vessel?
NoGaBiker and WMN-
Welcome aboard the Horizon Highway! We're all making the trip together (hopefully along with a few others like RobM on this forum)! This must be a ship full of Defenders!
Blessings and safe travels to the HH...

Two sites that I've been using:
This one is pretty straight forward - https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels...MMSI-353105000
This one allows you to register for free, download a phone app and create alerts (arrival, ETA, etc.) - https://www.myshiptracking.com/?mmsi=353105000

So my car is sitting on the dock in Baltimore for nearly a week now and it is missing it's "engine certification" so it cannot be shipped to the dealer by the port - and I'm quoting here "hoping it will be in the next week or so". OR SO! and also there are no front expedition parts in stock anywhere - not for port installation or to dealers....
UPDATE: So it's now been sitting on the dock in Baltimore for 18 days, and the dealer does not have a ship to dealer date yet. I had a rather terse exchange with the sales manager yesterday, but it still ended(surprisingly) the same way - the port cannot release it without the engine certification. I stated again that if this thing isn't perfect, we're done.

I saw our ship from the porch this morning. Went out to the beach and discovered it’s the sister ship, Niagara Highway. Looks like the Horizon is due into Baltimore tomorrow.
Mine was very patient and willing to update me any time I asked. Once the vehicle landed at the port in Brunswick, even he didn't receive a Trucking company notification when it left port and suddenly arrived four days later here in the heartland...

No, not that I know of. The dealers use Vista Dealer software that gets the most accurate updates that exist and even they are dodgy and delayed. This sounds absurd but bribe your sales associate with some little gift or nice gesture and they'll be more willing to log-in to Vista any time you send them a text and ask for an update.
