Default How to save dynamic mode as default mode

Hi Guys

As most of you know the car will always reset to the default driving mode (either ECO mode or Comfort mode)when you restart the car, as a V8 defender owner I'v always want to have the most powerful driving experience, but everytime I have to re-select over the modes which is super annoying,so does anyone know or is there a way to save the dynamic mode as the default driving mode?

Not sure if the V8 has no brain like the X where you can put it in auto and it will adjust the driving mode depending on your mood or conditions?

Of any of the cars that I have owned with a performance mode none of them would default to it at startup. I can’t see the defender being any different.

lt's probably done that way to stop people accidentally leaving it in "Rock Crawl" mode or "Mud and Ruts"

It’s done for emissions testing reasons (at least in the US that’s the case). Same reason cars default to auto start-stop being on when you start the car.

that's something I don't know, even the auto mode can adjust itself, do you need to select "auto" every single time you start the car? or it only need to be selected once and system will remember it?

Leave it in auto mode and it will select the proper 4x4 for you. Auto mode can be selected in the screen not the 4x4 dial.

I believe this is true with exception of dynamic mode.
