Default Interactive/Virtual Display Went Blank While Driving

Like the title said, my dash/display shut off completely while driving last night. This happened once before, and I pulled over immediately and shut off / restarted the vehicle, and everything was back to normal. When it happened last night, I couldn't pull over right away, but the display turned back on in 5-10 seconds. Has anyone else experienced this? I tried searching but couldn't find any helpful results.

Maybe an overly sensitive version of the digital dash dimming until unusable?

I've seen the dash do the dimming thing around dusk, but this was different. It completely shut down and went black. Not even that blue hue when a screen is on but all black. This was like turning the car off.

I have a 2023.5 D90 and my interactive display is set showing the tach and speedometer and in-between the two I have the map displayed. Several times lately I notice exactly half of the map (right half) blacks out for 1-2 seconds, then comes right back. Not a clue what's going on...

I own a 23 defender and it happened to me over the weekend while driving on windy mountain road , screen went off for about 10 seconds and came back on , dealer states it’s a software issue and Land Rover is working on the glitch .

My 2023.5 has had the dash blink for a second. It's happened since it was new. Usually once or twice a week. Glad to hear JLR knows about it and can possibly fix with an OTA update.

Happened to us tonight with our 2023.5 130, on the interstate. It came back eventually, but now our vehicle that shows in the screen is a RR Velar. Weird!

Report a Vehicle Safety Problem, Equipment Issue | NHTSA
File a complaint, this is serious.
With latest updates the display is dimming less, so definitely JLR changing something.
