On my way in to the office this morning, I fired up the Sound app on my Apple Watch. I was pretty consistent at 70-74db from speeds of 50mph to over 90mph. The reason mine is so loud is based on my tires, so I wouldn't say the Defender is loud by any means.
While I'm not super happy about tire drone, I knew what I was getting when I got different tires. To remind everyone of how aggressive my tires are, here is a picture:

Thanks for the data point, yea, I would simply not own the Defender if I had to endure 70-74db daily driving it, especially since I would likely take this out on road trips. Looks like I would get some much milder tires like some Defender LTX or TerrainContact A/Ts.
