I am looking for a simple measure of the gap (height) between the parallel cross bara on the dashboard.
Mine arrives in 2 weeks and I

would like to get a tablet that fits in there nicely for the passenger.
Looks like a good place for it.

 

Why don't you just grab something like this from Defender3D? Looks like they have already solved the problem and don't have to deal with permanently mounting anything. Good luck!

I actually bought this the other day but it is a bit ugly and in the way for long travel. If it was just me driving I wouod use it but more for just my passenger.
Any idea on that dimension?

 

I measure just under 5" or 12.7 cm. It's padded so there's a little give

Inside the depth is about 6' toward the front but the top slopes toward the rear so you lose some height.

 

Greatly appeciated. This helps heaps so I can fit a tablet in there. Thanks again.
