I've also heard from my dealer that the Octa is on a boat or getting on a boat and that he has not heard of any price changes for the Octa Defender. We shall see. 6/27 delivery date... was originally 6/20 so moved back a week...

 

The dealership text me yesterday that we should here back from JLR next week as to what the plan is going to be for the US. Currently, have the FY25 ordered but the factory hasn't confirmed my build yet, he thinks the orders will be processed after the announcement of their plans next week. I've ordered mine on April 23rd.

I would think we should be getting close to the FY26 models too but I don't know when new year models are announced. The new Apple CarPlay Ultra looks awesome. I want to know if this will be supported too.

 

Mine was ordered in December, built end of March. My salesperson left the dealership, so I never was informed as to whether it shipped before the pause, but I got a call last week that it arrived. I took delivery yesterday. No tariff, no change from the original quoted price.

 

So the dealership reached out that Pangea Green is out for 2026 model year. I tried to get mine order on April 23rd but still waiting for the factory to confirm the order. So I got a text that they have a green 110 in the queue that can be modified to my build. I would receive it in Sept.
I couldn't get any other info about new colors or any changes for the 2026 model year. Has anyone heard anything? I would think they would be announcing something soon but the whole EU/USTariff issue is probably holding things up.

 

Interesting to hear that Pangea Green is going away. Its surprising, especially since it was one of the launch colors, and JLR doesn't usually discontinue launch colors until the product life cycle is up. There have been a few exceptions over the years, though.

 

I think I read somewhere, LR installed a new paint factory at the defender facility. Maybe that has something to do with changes.

 

Unlikely, as they opened up an SVO paint facility at the Nitra plant, meaning there will be more color options down the road.

 

I really like the current green but before I confirm the order I would like know what the color options are going to be for the next year, since I'm so close to the end of this year.

 

I'm sure the 26MY changes will be announced in the coming weeks. Some JLR products are already in the 26MY.

 

Well, disregard my previous reply. 26MY updates have been announced. Pangea Green has been replaced with Woolstone Green. I personally think it looks like sick.
