Has anyone installed jump seat(s) in the back of their L663? Or heard of anyone doing it? I'm thinking of sideways facing jump seats like the old Series trucks and older Defenders. Would be nice to have to occasionally cart an extra kid or two around the neighborhood.

 

Are jump seats even legal any longer?

 

I would guess they're not, which is why I can't find any info on them or any body who sells them for the 663. But I'm curious if anyone has done a workaround with older series/defender jump seats or grabbed some older G Wagen jump seats and figured it out.

 

I have a set of NOS jump seats with seat-belts from my old OG Defender. I removed them on day 1 to gain space in the back. I doubt they would fit well in a new Defender, though. Still, maybe I should post them for sale here, presumably on the OG Defender forum?

 

I don't even know where you could possibly mount a pair of jump seats, and even if you could, I doubt you'd be able to fit anyone bigger than a four-year-old.

 

I'd post them in the marketplace if you're going to sell them!
