My wife and i did the LR experience in Asheville NC. It was fantastic! She drove the whole time and she did an amazing job. I learned quite a bit also. The instructors did enjoy having a d90 on coils there. Definitely not the typical defender. They took her thru an area where they demonstrate winching. Basically trying to get the defender stuck on purpose. She was able to drive thru it! I believe her not having some of the habits that i have as a seasoned off roader may have its benefits for sure. Great instructors and amazing people. Plus the Biltmore estate is not too shabby either

I came from a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JLU (still have it) and have been to Uwharrie National Forest many times with the Jeep. I'm not quite ready to take my 110 X to Uwharrie , so may have to do the LR experience in Asheville as a start. I'm in NC and didn't realize Asheville did the LR experience, thanks for sharing Sarek!

The terms and conditions of the Land Rover experience in California state all drivers be at least 21 years of age; passengers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

There is a Land Rover Teen Driving Experience program for individuals 14 - 20 which could be worth investigating.

My favorite part of the VT land rover experience was the strong Ron Swanson vibes from the lead instructor.

My wife and are doing a 2 hour session at the Asheville NC Land Rover Experience on April 8. Finally cashing in my freebie session as a new owner. If that goes well, I'm sure I'll go back for a longer session. Maybe do a whole day in the future. Schedules just limit us at the moment so we are driving up from Charlotte for the day on April 8, doing the 2 hour session and then heading back home. Looking forward to it!
