Looks like based on the build and accessories, it would be about 80k if ordered to spec from new. Not bad value considering the amount of stuff this one has. Thats presuming it sells for 85k.

Wow. If that wasn't sold already, I would sell mine and buy it!! But I'm very sure it's the case where the LR websites show inventory that are "taken" but not picked up yet.

@_Allegedly - quit looking at your polls, fly up there and buy this one! (Call first, there's no way this isn't taken).

Lol, the Trek won't fit in my garage.

It's a new dealership and, here's the secret... they're getting around 150 (not just Defenders obviously) and only 5 are pre-sold. They're arriving today through Friday when they soft open.

I just switched to another one. Yulong with Ebony and gloss black 22's X-Dynamic HSE P400 110 with rear air, tow hitch, and air suspension. Not exactly what I want but she's a beauty and I'll enjoy driving it for a couple months at least.

I know - I much prefer to keep 6 gallons of highly explosive fuel inside my vehicle rather than outside where it is safer

We competed, got third place. Our TreK Defender should be here in the next week or so.

On the TREK vehicle, what is the purpose of the two guy wires from the roof rack to the front fenders? Looking to understand what I see.......

Thank you !!

They are called "limb risers". The intent is if you are going through thick forests/grasslands that the branches/stuff ride up the cable and over the vehicle instead of shattering the windshield. Hey, maybe every Defender needs that with their windshields!! In this case, I highly suspect that they are for "looks". You know a lot of 4x4 is as much as looking cool as much as function. I looked at the Trek 21 in the North Hills and it looked like they were clipped on with those Nite Eyz carabiners. If that's the case, there's not really any strength in them. Also they start way too high up in the hood. Most of the Australia versions start at the roo bars to give the branches / trees more time/slope to go over. But fully functional ones are pretty beefy to protect the front {windshield} of the truck.

They raise up branches that hang low over the trail saving your gear from getting snagged or the paint from getting scraped up.

Edit: What Grouse said. I be slow

The white pack is for water genius. Red is fuel.
