I don't care about removable doors/roof (which is a big reason to go Bronco), and I felt that the Bronco interior was kind-of meh (especially compared to the Defender). The ultimate clincher for me is that I've always wanted another Rover after selling my '03 Discovery. I know there will likely be some gremlins (hopefully not too many!), but that's part of the fun/charm of driving something unique like the Defender.
Same here, canceled my Bronco reservation too. Glad I did. Really happy with my Defender!

love the checker plate corner panels. thinking about adding this but my white defender doesnt have a black roof.. something about how these corner panels frame the rear profile so well when you have that black roof. well done.

driving a nas 90 daily for the past decade i wanted to hate on the new defender but after seeing it person it completely changed my mind and i had to have one. its not the same as the old truck but you appreciate the new styling and design of it for what it is. i think its a sharp looking truck that is great on and off road. land rover did a great job. really loving it.

On the original topic...

I’m the total opposite. I thought the new Defender looked really cool in photos but when I saw it in the metal I was seriously disappointed. Maybe it was the color/spec of the one I saw at the dealership but it just didn’t stand out or look as futuristic/retro/tonka like as the photos and videos. It’s a lot taller and longer than it looks in photos though.

But then conversely I think the D5 looks awkward in most photos and videos but looks much better in the metal. Go figure...
