Thanks. Working on it this weekend and hope to finish tomorrow. The location is perfect and great idea on how you ran the cable. I ran a cable down the sills for a camera and it was a real pain, didn't want to do that again.

Finished the install last week. Great result and agree that this is the best location. Easy to access and see the led. I will say it was a little bit of a pita as the seats had to be unbolted to be able to remove the panels on the console without breaking anything.

Love the result - thanks for leading the way on it Defendit

With the Llams on the first position left - Low - the driving characteristics improve drastically, less body roll by cornering,
still comfy on good tarmac , changing lanes on the highway feels now very confident.
It is not a sports car of course but the addition to lower it improves the overall handling ,
I also note that the full time 4 wheeldrive grips more aggressive, more gummy even with Mud Terrains.

Extra Low was used in a parking garage with 74,8"/190cm max - height of the car 75,4"/ 6'3ft / 191.5cm
(Disclaimer, my lowered Thule Edge Wingbars are 0,2" / 0,5cm higher than the sharkfin antenna, so it / that is protected)
Extra Low with easy access comes in very handy for the older and my disabled girlfriend.

High with offroad height is not comfy anymore
Super High with offroad high only usable by very slow rock crawling / no suspension left at all.

Worth to mention : I did weighed my D90 the first day with me and a full tank 4920 Lbs. / 2230kg.
With steelies, Mud Terrains,Winch, onboard compressor, all the Recovery gear etc.etc. it is now near 5500 Lbs./ 2500kg

I've done by now almost 25 modifications, wish I had done the Llams height controller in the beginning..
Any questions feel free to ask.

No Mud flaps for my 90.!

Hi Defendit, this is my first post in this forum as I need to seriously consider the total height of the vehicle before pulling the trigger. The underground garage that I parked in indicates a max height of 190cm. Therefore I am wondering if your extra low mode (191.5cm) is at -20mm or the -35mm setting. If I can get the vehicle height to just below 190cm, my life would be much easier. Thanks in advance.

The extra low setting is -35mm , so my lowest height for parkings is 191,5 cm with the lowered Thule Edge Wingbar, whitout it is 191cm
If you want to go lower, Air down or mount Tires with 31,5" diameter.

I feel secure with the roofbars, incase they will be hit first instead of your expensive sharkfin antenna.

If you lower the D90 you will screw up your wheel alignment and will wear out the insides of both front and rear tires by adding too much negative camber..

Ya should have bought a car if ya want car like handling ..
