Just had my 42,000 mile service done at Jake Kaplan Land Rover in Warwick, RI. $1091.79 and the "tech" forgot to reset the service warning indicator. Seriously makes me wonder what else they forgot to do or did in a half *** manner. I'd been pretty pleased with them up to now, but the $654 labor (for less than 2 hours work - I can't find anywhere what they charge per hour) really stings. The vehicle will be out of warranty later this year, so then I'll feel happier going to an independent.

I've seen Special Vehicles in Exeter, RI but I don't know if they service newer Defenders. Same for Hollands Garage in Guilford CT, and D&S in Guilford CT.

Does anyone have experience with any of these shops or recommendations in eastern CT or RI?
