Default Low profile rock rails

Just curious if anyone has seen these or had experience with them? They are offered by 4x4 Outdoor Tuning, and I just happened upon them during a google search for Defender rock sliders. I like that they appear more like the standard Jeep rock rails in that they are low profile and close to the rocker, so it would lessen the chance of your slacks getting dirty exiting the vehicle. They look good, but appear to be quite pricy and would need to come over from Australia. They look to be about $2100 USD converted, but who knows how much for shipping. Thoughts on these vs. the Lucky 8 sliders? Unfortunately this appears to be the only picture on their website.

I like them very much, they seemed to be made from oval tubing, slightly bend on the front and rear.
Good for inspiration..

I would go for something like that. Part of my issue with the sliders I have seen is, from my perspective, they mess up the look of the car. Having said that, it is a steep price to pay for the stealth look…

This does look very clean. My problem with sliders is if I have them I'm more likely to do something stupid off road

Apparently they will be offering both these and a variant with tubes. I contacted the company and they said the sliders are still in development but targeting a January 2022 date for availability.

Looks like it's the setup made by Matzker. They also have underbody protection and some other cool bits. Just wish there was someone in the US that is importing/distributing their products.

Exactly why I don't have sliders yet. Waiting on some like these, just maybe a little cheaper and already in the US.

Thats a good catch. They sent me a few additional pictures via email of the fitted sliders (with the tube) and their rig had a Matzker sticker on the side, so they are probably their official importer to Australia.

Those do look really beefy and protective for sure. I'm also sure the tube extension provides extra protection against having your door come down on a rock or something that. I just prefer that cleaner look of the tubeless.
