Low profile rock rails
Just curious if anyone has seen these or had experience with them? They are offered by 4x4 Outdoor Tuning, and I just happened upon them during a google search for Defender rock sliders. I like that they appear more like the standard Jeep rock rails in that they are low profile and close to the rocker, so it would lessen the chance of your slacks getting dirty exiting the vehicle. They look good, but appear to be quite pricy and would need to come over from Australia. They look to be about $2100 USD converted, but who knows how much for shipping. Thoughts on these vs. the Lucky 8 sliders? Unfortunately this appears to be the only picture on their website.

Looks like it's the setup made by Matzker. They also have underbody protection and some other cool bits. Just wish there was someone in the US that is importing/distributing their products.

Those do look really beefy and protective for sure. I'm also sure the tube extension provides extra protection against having your door come down on a rock or something that. I just prefer that cleaner look of the tubeless.
