Default LR Posts Build Delays by Model/Trim

UK LR site update now shows delays by model, engine, and trim.

https://www.landrover.co.uk/vehicle-availability.html

Disclaimers are interesting too. What you see is... well... we don't know what you'll get.

And it's not old, they drive the date on the wrong side of the road too. 7/10 is 7 October.

The idea of “consulting your dealer” for good, solid info is pretty funny as well!

This could all be one very elaborate practical joke.

Hmmmm… wonder which is worse :
Delays may continue for 9-12 months.
or
Severely impacted and limited availability.
or
Delays may continue for more than 12 months.

Looking at 2023 for my 2dr Wildtrak Bronco with Black Modular Hard Top…
No telling now when I might see my Defender 90X

"Severely impacted and limited availability" just sounds hopeless. Has to be the worst.

Are you trying to get the black painted top or the off-black MIC top?

My Wildtrak order includes the Black Painted Modular Top that Ford originally showed as standard equipment on the Wildtraks…. everywhere you look the world has gone to hell in a hurry it seems.

When my order got switched from a my21 to my22 order and my dealer was clueless on some of the changes I called LR USA to confirm and they were equally clueless. The person I spoke to said the same line of calling a dealer and that the dealer actually gets the information before LR USA corporate does.

Honestly I think its just a big group of people who simply dont want to pay close enough to all that changes that constantly occur and have no moral issue communicating wrong or outdated information.

I had no idea Wildtrak got a painted top. That's going to look really good.

The giant MY22 info dump they did the other day made it seem like they aren't making those until '23 but I only skimmed it very quickly for our Outer Banks order.

We're switching to black soft top. I drove one and it wasn't loud or drafty at all. Not sure it will stay that way after some some use in the Florida sun and rain but it puts the truck in the driveway faster and I'm really hoping for an aftermarket glass top of some sort. Good luck!
