Manhart ECU Remapping p400 to 512 HP
Considering the $10k bump to go from a P300 to a P400 to gain 100hp and 110 lb-ft of torque, it seems reasonable to pay another $450 to $750 to pick up an additional 40-60 hp and 40-60 lb-ft of torque.
Depending on where that torque comes in, it may help smooth out the turbo lag.
I love their removable module approach and I'd never do a remap, especially on a JLR product.
I'm 100% in if they make one.

Can you explain the difference between the removable module and the remap pls?
there is a small electric hybrid engine that spins the motor to avoid the turbo lag
a piggy back tricks the ecu to increase boost. a full remap changes timing and fuel. in most cases a piggy back is enough unless your running other mods
i have worked with Racechip on development on a couple products for other cars. i have a custom race chip map on my m8 due to my other mods. in stock forum it was causing an over boost
if i can finally arrange something with Race chip we could have another cheaper tuning product.
i actually sent them all the sensor plugs already and they were suppose to come out. they had a massive outbreak in their office and it’s been pretty quiet since

Electric supercharger. Mine is still on order so the best I can go on is about 30 minutes driving one in traffic. It seemed a little anemic off the line and I really noticed the turbo. Almost like the supercharger wasn't working.
The CRTD4 MULTI CHANNEL PETROL TUNING BOX CHIP seems pretty slick….has anyone seen any customer reviews or feedback. I assume shipping to the US would not be any problem.
A D110 owner in Canada installed and reviewed it. However, he is an owner (was an owner actually, he has since sold the Defender and got a Disco5) that downright hated both P400 engine and ZF transmission of his 2020 Defender so much (his dislikes and complaints are well documented in a number of earlier videos), that I think he was looking for the silver bullet that would magically solve all of his issues, and this chip obviously isn't it. So, take his review with a grain of salt.
Here is the video, I understand about 50 to 60% of what he says, and he does say a lot, but it shows how relatively easy installation of these tuning boxes is.

Does the Manhart remapping take the P400 Defender past its torque handling capability?
--------------------------------------------
I believe the P400 uses the 8HP70, which is limited to 700 NM of torque for both petrol and diesel engines:
8HP70 700 700 BMW 7 Series (F01/F02), BMW X5 50i (E70), BMW 5 series (F10/11), BMW 3 Series (F30) 330d and 335d, Dodge Durango V8, Iveco Daily, Jaguar F-Type (V6 and V8), Jaguar XE 35t, Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L 8-cyl Engine Code [T] EZH (2014 -), Jeep Grand Cherokee 6.4L 8-cyl Engine Code [J] ESG (2014 -), Jeep Grand Cherokee V8, Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel (2014-2016), Ram 1500 V6, V8, & diesel, Range Rover Sport (2012), Rolls-Royce Phantom, Maserati Quattroporte (2013–), Dodge Charger V8 (2015-), Volkswagen Amarok V6 TDI 550, Dodge Challenger V8 (2015-), Aston Martin Vanquish (2015), Aston Martin Rapide S (2015),[18] Alpina B3 (F30/31), Alpina B4 (F32/33), Great Wall Haval H9
---------------------------------------------
I believe the P300 uses the 8HP45, which is limited to 450 NM of torque with a petrol engine and 500 NM of torque in a disel engine:
8HP45 (a separate 845RE is for V6 Chryslers)[16] 450 500 BMW 1 Series (F20), BMW 2 Series M235i (F22), BMW 3 Series (F30), BMW 5 Series (F10/F11), BMW 6 Series (F06/F12/F13), BMW 7 Series (F01/F02), BMW X3 (F25), BMW X4 (F26), BMW X5 35i (E70), BMW X5 (F15), BMW X6 (F16), Chrysler 300 V6, Chrysler 300 C, Dodge Charger V6, Dodge Challenger V6, Dodge Durango V6 (2014-2017), RAM 1500 V6 (2013-), Jaguar XE, Lancia Thema V6, Volkswagen Amarok

Something of which to be aware, maybe. Enjoy!
