Yeap, getting a 404. However I luckily had not deleted the previous version and that seems to be pulling it down fine. Except super slow, > 1 day, more than likely because I'm on a super old Ma, so the write/read cycles are nuts. I wish they just gave you an ISO that that you could "burn" to a USB. Just looked in my Trash folder and I don't have the dmg anymore so I can't upload that somewhere for you, sorry.

 

There's a 404 at the. Here LR site, but you can find it for others. Cut the name and search their website root (www.here.com).

I don't remember specifics, but a Google search should suffice, too. Lotsa people use it, they supply everyone from LR to Kia.

Every time I think of updating the oem nav, I quickly remember it’s 2023 and see no reason to bother.

CarPlay with Waze and/or Google Maps just works better for me. It gives me real-time traffic and police info, doesn’t require silly and dated USB stick updates, has better UI and UX, and my history and favorites come with me from car to car.

Sure, onboard nav can be a helpful backup in those rare times I’m in a cell dead zone, so maybe I’ll run an update someday. But pretty low priority in this day and age.

I contacted our dealer where we purchased the car. They were baffled and looking into it. Hope to hear back today.

 

I have the disk image for the latest version of the Mac map updater. I'd be happy to upload it to a share drive if others want it. It's a 30MB file. You would probably need to allow it to install and run as an exception as it will probably trigger a security alert when you try to install it.
