To those who performed the lighting upgrade from premium to matrix, how successful was the upgrade? Would you do it again for the benefit? What did you do with your unused premium setup?

 

Also trying to figure this out. I believe but hopefully can confirm these parts actually worked. Dealer says "uncertain".

What are the advantages to the matrix over the premium LEDs?

 

Matrix LED lighting uses the front camera on the windsheild. The matrix LED headlamp has a series of small LED's that shine to produce illumination at night. The camera is used to detect objects at night and illuminate them independently. I had it on my Mercedes retrofitted. The best night time illumination you can get because it won't blind oncoming traffic and still illuminate parts of the roadway traditional lighting can't.

 

Is it brighter? The premium LED is too dim
