Looks like COVID gave Matzker some time to tweak their New Defender gear. In the video, you will see what looks like a roll cage, a real snorkel, and new armor. I like what they did with armor, it seems more module versus the first version. Here is the translation of the youtube comment. The New Defender is the new companion of the Land Rover brand. We see ourselves as enthusiasts and have therefore devoted ourselves to the Defender with many modifications. The exhibit shown here has a complete underbody protection system and a completely external roll cage.

 

I like their stuff. But you don't seem to be able to actually buy any of it.

 

I agree, I think COVID threw things off but it also looks like everything has been retooled. There is a big outdoor show in AUgust in Germany where they look to introduce the updates. Maybe after it occurs, we can get an opportunity.

 

That makes sense, @ADVAW8S . I've looked at it and it is pretty steep in cost but looks really good/effective. Whenever I check it out it appears that you can't purchase anything. Perhaps (like everything else) they will have product on hand in the (near?) future.
