Default Meridian Surround “Rain stick” crackling noise

Hi all,

First a quick positive acknowledgment - I’m over 10K miles in on my 2023.5 110 and have essentially had zero problems. Everything works well mechanically and electronically, it’s a versatile vehicle and suits my needs well.

The only minor issue I’m having is that the driver’s door speaker on the Surround Sound will occasionally have a crackling/“rain stick” sound coming through. It happens once in awhile and I can’t really determine a consistent pattern of what is causing it … in general it seems to happen on longer drives and after driving over bumpier roads. The speaker still plays music fine … so I’ll wait to deal with it at the next service.

Anyone out there have a similar issue and find a root cause? Can’t tell if it’s a speaker not assembled/installed correctly, or more of an electronic/bluetooth-driven cause.

In the meantime, super happy with the overall ownership experience to date. Thanks for any advice from those that may have it!
