Mild All Terrain Tires
#11
Re: Nitto Terra Grapplers - I've put about 10K miles on mine and been happy so far. There is some noise increase compared to the stock road tires (Michelin I believe), but nothing that bothers me. The wind noise on the car is much more significant than any tire noise.
They have been good for mild off roading (forest service roads, etc).
One note is that some model numbers are snow rated and others aren't, so be careful if that matters to you. The Nitto page has a chart of which are which. The snow rating adds a bit of weight (even in identical sizes), so that might also impact noise.
Also the tires have two different tread patterns on the side wall (not symmetrical), so you can pick between the two when installing.

I love (LOVE) Falken Wildpeak. No idea if they come in the size you're after though.
Have them on an 00 Disco and a friend has them on his 2014 Land Cruiser. We both agree they are 1) superb off-road 2) superb on-road -- actually handle pretty well) 3) quiet on the roads and highways 4) Great sidewall look.
I was very anti-fallen before I bought my set, then I read MB puts them on their new G Wagens with certain off-road package (and Tire Rack recently was selling those MB approved (kind of like Porsche N Spec if you all know about that) Wildpeak tires for slightly less than the non - MB Wildpeaks, guessing because of demand / over supply.
Also a counterpoint to above, I had Geolanders on a farm pickup, didn't love em. Slippery when wet.
