Just took the delivery of mine today, it was built on 28th September and was on thalatta. But had to travel around the world to get to Auckland New Zealand. Glad that I got it before Xmas.
just for the reference of the peeps here
- build date 28th September
- got two keys
- got full interactive driver display ( I would’ve been so upset if I got the tiny tft and analog needles)
- no usb at the back ( but there is a campaign note on topix so hopefully I’ll get them later, or I might fix them myself if I can source the parts)
- sun glass holder is missing (no surprise there)

Orders since June 2021 are still pending here (United Arab Emirates)
I envy you guys.
Orders of the Defender made in June 2021 are still not received here in the UAE (Abu Dhabi, Dubai etc…)
According to JLR dealers here, the chip delayed production in 2021 and now orders carried over are being delayed to 2024!!! because they claim that v6 engines are now being allocated by factories for the new Range Rover Vogue and the new Range Rover Sport. Nevertheless, people worldwide are still ordering and receiving their Defender orders!
I believe it is ridiculous. People here do not know if this is misleading information or not, but no one has a choice but to wait.

Still waiting
I just met with my dealer sales guide this morning. He said their January allotments (6) were all for 6 cylinder P400 models which I did not want. After some thought and discussion with my better half I changed my order from a D90 to a 110S, still P300, Tasmin Blue with a white roof and steelies. I am first in line for the February allotment. We shall see.
arrived in port Dec 9 and still not at my dealer- which is only 200 miles from the dealer.

I hope your dealer can give you a good explanation of the delay- hopefully something minor that is exacerbated by the abysmal weather we’ve been having.
