Well---what my dealer told me was that they were getting a delivery today but that mine was not on that truck....but here is the kicker....I was driving back from another (non-JLR) dealer this AM where I took my other car in for service, and on I-95, I saw THAT truck---and, as they stated, my Defender was not on it....but there was a nice black 110....so someone will be happy today.

 

Mine arrives in the Savannah GA port tomorrow.

 

Good News/Bad News:

Good News- my Defender is on a truck to my dealership---should get there this afternoon or tomorrow.

Bad News- I am leaving town around noon tomorrow for 10 days and may not be around to retrieve it!

At least it is progress!

 

Verified mine does have surround sound. I lost the hood decal for some reason though.

Took delivery of my 130 X Dynamic three weeks ago. It was missing the usual sunglasses holder, usb ports in the back, and soft close rear door. It did have the full digital driver display, the larger 11.4” center display, and the full Meridian surround sound. I’m getting impatient on the service bulletin for the dealer to install the usb ports. Thinking about doing it myself, but I can’t find any usb-c ports in stock anywhere. I’m also missing the third row usb or power outlets. Not sure what’s supposed to be in those from the factory. Has anyone successfully installed those on their own?

 

Start here. I did two in the 2nd row yesterday from USB-Cs I ordered here. Simon from @PowerfulUK has videos from a few weeks where he went into a lot of detail about adding them but he tore apart the interior which is not entirely necessary though the most thorough way. I wanted to add one in the front passenger dashboard but they taped it to other wires and it seems like a bear to get off.

 

Thanks for that link. I already saw that thread. I can handle those. I’ve seen threads on how to do the one in the dash too. I was more concerned if anyone did the third row usb ports. Didn’t want to tear into those and not have any wiring in place.

 

Build date 11-25-22. My build is a V8 incase that matters.
