They are all being delivered with basic blind spot detection but without the "safe exit" assist whioh is being shorted - the spot is now covered by a plastic blank. The LED that should light up is not there in doors.

Mine shows the same "LESS" line in details.
Thanks. I'm totally okay without a safe exit assist, but I need the LED in the mirrors.

I picked up a 130 loaner yesterday with the IDD and have been playing with it to see what we might have missed with our TFT..I find the dual gauge display far less attractive than the analogue gauges. When you power up the car, a nifty little picture appears on the screen..But I already know what my car looks like... The full screen map is useless due to the fact it does not broadcast Waze or other CarPlay features.
We were able to get the 11.4" center in ours, and frankly, would rather have that combo than the IDD with the 10" screen any day.....Again, just my humble opinion..!
I agree, the nonsense over the analog display being just fine over the IDD is, well, nonsense. In my opinion of course. I looked at a Defender with the TFT display to consider all options and it’s just…. well…quaint. I also find the analog gauges far less attractive with the ridiculous cut outs that go into the already small digital display in the middle, making it even smaller. Again, just my humble opinion of course. In all seriousness, I think we all have our own preferences. Let’s not have the “don’t like what I don’t like” mentality. That’s the real nonsense.

Right on...While you wait and see on yours, I guess I will just enjoy driving mine!

I'll be waiting regardless of what it ends up being equipped with. I'm just not one to settle because of impatience and then try to convince myself and or others, that I like it. Glad you're enjoying your Defender.

Sorry you feel that way. Hardly convincing myself...just CLEARLY stated my OPINION the matter. If you took it any other way, well, I guess we can just disagree. For what it is worth, the build sheet pulled three days after the actual production date back in February was identical to what showed up three weeks ago, including the specially requested 11.4" center screen.
Enjoy your wait!!

I wasn't referring to you. I was simply stating that some people are willing to settle and some of those people try to convince themselves otherwise. However, perhaps your assumptions and defensiveness on the matter show there is some truth to the statement that does apply to you. I really couldn't care less. Enjoy your Defender!

What I’ve discovered is that if you ordered one with certain options that one likes, most likely something will come off. But if a dealer gets an allocation, it comes with everything one wanted except it’s the wrong color or wrong engine.

I notice a lot of you referring to a "build sheet". I asked my JLR dealer for this and he just sent me the catalogue I already had. Now its on the ship, should I be asking him for something in particular to confirm the details of "my" vehicle spec?

Cheers

Ask for the detailed Vista2 printout with options.
"LESS" just means that you either didn't select an option or a standard item was upgraded by an option you did pick. (leather shorts the "Resist" gear shifter, for example.)
