That’s very useful, thank you. I’ll leave it another month and chase the dealer. Will be interested to hear what “4th” actually means in reality 😉

Our dealer put in our order for a Carpathian Grey 2023 110 P400 X-Dynamic SE on 3/16. Air suspension, comfort / convenience, cold climate, off-road, adaptive CC, towing, and the Explorer Pack.

Last Amendment Date: 4/27
Build Date: 5/27
Delivery Date: 7/22

Compared to what everyone else is saying, getting it four months after placing the order seems very optimistic and I'm sure it'll end up getting pushed to the end of summer / fall, but at least it's something.

One question I had...the tow and explorer pack are dealer-installed, right? Approximately how much should I expect tacked on for labor? I did the tow hitch on our current Disco Sport and it wasn't bad at all, so I might just ask for the parts and do the install myself. Not because I'm cheap (well, a little bit...) but because I enjoy doing that sort of work myself.

@amcarroll - The quick answer: a LOT. They will charge you their full labor rates with no discounts for the standard hours of the labor tasks. If you are reasonably handy, you are talking several hundred dollars for a few hours of your time. There are plenty of videos available that walk you thru each of these and tons of threads if you get used to the "Advanced Search" capability to find them. I did them on my own and it was <4 hours of futzing around. If I really went at it, it should be like ~90 minutes.

For the explorer pack, ditto all the items but obviously more time for each. The wheel arches are cake, the roof rack is a PITA as you will need a second helper lifting it (make sure you get the roof rails option already up there - that is a significant help), the ladder & lunch box both have videos from PowerfulUk (but you will have to drill some trim & insert rivnuts), and the air intake I believe requires you to pull the door. But, if you are handy you will save thousands of dollars. Good luck, post pics if you do it yourself.

The tow pack/tow hitch should be installed by the factory, so no dealer labor...

Woops. @new to landrover is correct. I read that as the "Tow Eyes". Definitely would have the towing capability (tow pack) added by either the Factory (or Dealer if it weren't) as that's a PITA.

I dont think the towing package is dealer installed. It's not represented that way on the configurator and it's requires a lot of other packages etc.

My dealer told me for my 2023 110X that if I order the Roof rack and side ladder separate it is a port installed option. Additionally if you want the classic mud flaps, order the Exterior Protection Pack (not specifically listed in the configurator) which is also Port installed... it's what I did and I assumed this avoids the dealer install up charges? Hoping at least 🤞🏼
