Hey everyone!

I’m looking forward on placing an order on a 90 SE P300 but would love to know about the average wait time. I contacted a sales representative in LR and he told me 2 years?!?! From what I’ve seen in this thread is that recently ETA is around 5-7 months?

I ordered a 110 P300 on Christmas day. Delivery day is 07/28 so just about 7 months total. Your total wait time may be dependent on your dealer and how many allocations they are given for Defenders.

Specced my 110 X-Dynamic on 4/29. Order submitted to LR 5/16, build date 7/7, delivery supposedly 9/1, MSRP

I previously ordered a 23.5 Defender 110 X-Dynamic SE that came in early and was mistakenly sold by the dealer to another party. So, I recently re-ordered almost exactly the same vehicle as a MY24 slated for mid-late Oct 2023 delivery.

The MSRP went up a bit, but with the pano roof, adaptive cruise control, and DRL now standard, I think it actually works out to be a lower cost then 2023.5 models with those added.
I had questions as well. the roof is really the only part of new Defender that JLR mucked up. JLR should offer a reinforced roof - not only glass, and not just "regular," but offer something exceptionally strong - reinforced by design over standard roofs - for folks that plan to use the roof for loading stuff. The "benefit" of turning your large SUV into greenhouse on wheels is appealing, and great for drives around town. I have no problem with it as a feature, a selection for the majority that would no doubt build them with glass. But it's not for everyone. I think the 130 Outbound with a fully loaded Expedition roof rack attached to an almost entirely glass roof is a weird build, and the advertisement showing a 130 in the midst of a sand dune is uncomfortable. The last point: the white top is supposed to help with cabin air temp. the white should reflect. the glass would likely transfer heat into the cabin, increasing fuel usage to then cool the cabin. When you spec out a model with the white contrast top, it looks ridiculous; but only if you think that a benefit of the white roof is heat reflection. then you wonder how putting glass on 75% of the roof works.

overall, the new defender is pure awesome on the inside. It drove well too. strengthen the roof a good bit, and if possible get to 18" wheels (from current 19" offerings) and then I'd likely be ready to order one. Personally, I think if someone specs out a Defender and clicks the 22" rims, it should repopulate the order to a RR Sport! A Defender with 22" rims is like making the hack-tooth saw of a Swiss Army knife 24 ct. gold - it's not going to last, although I know it looks good at the outset.

I noted some option pack changes from MY23.5 to MY24. The website shows the 23.5 Family Pack Plus ($2600) and Air SuspensionPack ($1600) are now combined for My24 as the Family Comfort Pack ($4200). But, on my build sheet they list the Family Comfort Pack at $4200 and a separate $1600 charge for Air Suspension Pack. My dealer expects them to fix this discrepancy soon.

I just put my name on a '24 MY 110 X-Dynamic SE that was ordered as Retail Stock by my "local" JLR dealer. Build Date is 07/07 (tomorrow) and expected Delivery Date is 09/01.

Those are the exact dates for mine, which I specced out on 4/29/23 and which was accepted by Land Rover on 5/16. Let me know if you hear anything more about your dates!

Will Do. As of yesterday, they felt they were still accurate.
