Any updates if your order was built?

I have a 130X with a build date of 7/21 and an expected delivery of 9/15, just curious if we are seeing delays already.

 

My 110 X-Dynamic had a build date of 7/7 and my SA told me on 7/7 that it had been built and was awaiting transport to port. YMMV.

As an aside, does anyone know what port LR ships from?

 

My build date and delivery dates have moved up 1 Week early!

Mine was loaded onto a ship in Zeebrugge Belgium.
Offloads in Baltimore MD.

 

Zeebrugge for me, as well, although it used to be primarily Bremmerhavn.

Assume East coast? Offloaded at Baltimore / Sparrow's Point or Brunswick GA

Once it is released from the outbound compound the dealer should be able to get the name of the ship. Follow using Marinetraffic.com, etc

 

First post from a long-time lurker! I've been wanting to order a Defender over the past 3 years as a replacement to my '16 RRS. I originally planned to order a 23.5MY but I held off as people were not receiving certain options ordered or even USB ports. LR pulling the Meridian Surround system for 24MY was a dealbreaker for me so I started looking at other vehicles. Thankfully, I built a Defender on the configurator a couple weeks ago to see the Meridian Surround system return as a $425 option as well as the digital rearview camera!

I promptly placed my order for a 2024. Finally.

Glad to hear your specific order went through! Congrats. Interestingly enough I have a very similar build date (X-dynamic SE) but my dealer in AZ said Meridian Surround was no longer available again despite me speccing it in my build online. Not a deal breaker for me but I was a little disappointed. I wonder if I’d get the option to add before my build date if it becomes available again??

 

Awesome congrats! My 2024 is suppose to be built 7/21, but Monday morning I'm calling my dealer to see if there is any possibility to add the upgraded Meridian Surround, I am 100% positive they will tell me no but I am still going to try haha.

 

Hmm you may be right about the Meridian Surround not being available. I was so focused on the LR ordering system forcing my build to Windsor leather seats in order to get Extended leather upgrade I completely missed the Audio option was missing. I saw the ClearSight digital rearview camera on the build sheet so thought I was good to go. Buzzkill. Hopefully things change before our builds are locked in.

 

Darn! Sorry to be the buzzkill. At least we have Clearsight! Definitely the higher priority between the two.
I ended up going with Windsor leather also because I wanted side bolster adjustment. The only way to get side bolsters without optioning Windsor leather is to get the khaki interior, and I definitely didn’t want a green interior. Such an odd way LR does things…
