I have a P400SE with nothing special added to it (no rack, ladder, side case, snorkel...). I was around 18.5 with stock tires and mostly highway driving. Now I'm on Falken Wildpeak tires (stock sizes) and do a lot more city driving and am seeing 16.7 or 16.8. I miss 18+ but much prefer the new tires, so...

I can't even fathom how someone gets 25+

Ahhhhh, that little tidbit in the middle explains the difference in your 25mpg and my 16.X last month on a 3500 mile trip. Avg speed of 78 vs 52. Maybe I need to start going 52.

My favorite thing is driving this thing slowly. I drive much faster in other cars.

yea, I'm a slow driver too; hopefully I'll get over 20 mpg overall - that's kinda what I'm hoping for.

I found the contrast helps me appreciate the Porsche more… and oddly the Defender more as well. A great pair that unexpectedly is better than the sum of the parts.

I’ve got the P400 with 18K miles - I usually average 17-19 in town, and 22-25 on the highway, usually between 73-75mph. Nothing extra like a roof rack creating drag. As you’d expect, hills will lower your numbers - if you’re in a more mountainous area it will drop. That said, I think it’s pretty efficient considering its profile and weight.
