Default My 2022 Tasman Blue Defender SE

What a lovely beast! Her name is Poppy.

She was late but only by 1-week. I was told earlier this week it would be delivered Aug 13. But this morning I got the call!

This is without a doubt the best and most beautiful Land Rover I have ever had the pleasure to own. It was worth the wait. It’s superb!!

I’ll post some better photos tomorrow. I’m exhausted haha.

PS, the ladder is on the other side. I do want that lunch box though!

Also, it was supposed to have textile/leather seats but it came with full leather. Not complaining at all though. Must be MY22 changes.

Default Tasman Blue with White Steelies + White Roof - Promise

Here is my 2020 P300 110. I was wondering what how a Tasman Blue Defender would look in a Gondwana Stone color scheme. I'll stick to the blue, thanks.

What interior color are you guys choosing to go with tasman? On the configurator the khaki color looks green, is it more tan in real life?

I find the khaki to be more brown in reality than the configurator shows. It does have the slightest green to it but not nearly as pronounced as you would think. That said, I think the black and acorn colors pair a little better with the Tasman. Khaki is great for the Pangea Green and the whites. I like a contrast between the interior and exterior color generally speaking and mores with the Defender as the body color is visible on the inside of the doors.

The interior of mine is Acorn/Lunar with light gray cross bar. Love it.

I’ve had black or darker interiors before and find them to show every bit of dirt and dust bits. I’m very happy with the change and it makes the interior feel very bright, very spacious and accommodating if that makes sense.

One thing very interesting about the Defender is its size. In photos it looks mid-size. But once you walk up to it, it’s a beast. It looks mean and all business. I’m amazed at how amazing it is.

Also no funky rattles, squeaks or creaks, no weird QC issues, no flapping A-pilars… it’s absolutely perfect.

Also, the Meridian stereo is fantastic. Plenty of watts and very rich sound.

Man, I’m so happy!
