Default Nerf Bars, Running Boards, or Side Steps

Am loving my Tasman Blue P300 S, but the entry/exit height even in easy access mode is still quite high, especially for my wife/mom/kids/etc. Also annoying that despite the plethora of grab handles, there isn't one in the traditional spot on the A pillar to pull up on.

I was sure I had seen factory side steps, etc at some point on the LR site, but now can't find them. Anyone have a link or part #, or was I just imagining things?

Also, any aftermarket recs for them? The only ones I could find via a quick Goog were China-based eBay ones, which scare me.

Fixed Side Steps - at $1,300 I think these will be the most popular option. LR will also sell you electronically deployable steps for more than $3k.
Lucky8 Sliders - these don't seem to have a step built-in, but might be an option?

I'm sure more will become available as the aftermarket manufacturers get their hands on test vehicles.

I agree. I'd wait it our 10-15 months and see what the myriad of new options will be. Some are likely delayed by those waiting to see the D90 so they can design/fab for BOTH vehicles.

Thanks for the link! That's the one I was looking for and doesn't easily show up under Defender, Accessories.

Just remember that these steps are not true rock sliders, so if you plan on doing any off roading, you’ll likely lose some clearance and/or end up damaging the steps if you try something gnarly. Doesn’t matter if it’s a mall mobile.

FYI, I took delivery of my Defender yesterday and the $1300 side steps I ordered are on backorder.

I've seen some aftermarket side step options on Amazon and eBay pop up lately. They look about the same as the genuine version. Has anyone had any experience with these? Getting the kiddos in the 110 is more important for me than rock sliding right now. Thanks!

That’s great to hear, thanks! They did a price cut, $569 now for this one in the link below. That, some tools, and a dremmel should do the job.

these are the ones i have. they come in black also which was a plus. if i could even get the oem ones i would have to send them off to get powdered coated

they come with a copy of the oem instructions. it’s a pretty straight forward install
