Default New 2026 Defender Trophy Edition

Looks like the Trophy Edition makes a return for the 26MY, but no longer is it a US-exclusive model, and can be ordered worldwide with a variety of powertrain options depending on the market.

It is now painted in Deep Sandglow Yellow, or Keswick Green instead of a wrap. I guess these might be the first of the exclusive paint colors out of the fancy new paint facility at the Nitra plant.

Inside, it is only available with the Ebony Windsor leather interior with a body-colored cross beam, and special Trophy illuminated treadplates. Otherwise, it is a standard Defender with the 20" fake steel wheels painted in black. Raised air intake also seems to make a return after not being available for a period of time.

Owners will be able to compete in the Land Rover Trophy - an event with the same spirit & ethos of the Camel Trophy (because tobacco sponsorships are bad - however, I wouldn't mind to be sponsored by Cohiba or Montecristo), and the entire event supports Tusk, a wildlife conservation organization dedicated to the conservation and preservation of African wildlife.

There will be regional Trophy events to determine finalists, and the final event will be in October 2026 at an undisclosed location in Africa, which will be announced in August 2026.

Glad to see that they haven't completely forgot about their heritage, even though this 26MY facelift seems to say otherwise to an extent.

I wonder if these will be "wraps" like the previous models were.

Nope, these are painted! You can get the standard gloss paint or the satin wrap on top of it.

The picture of the Defender on a raft is as dumb as rocks.

Seems like some of these AI images have 18" steelies. Others show what appear to be the ridiculous 20" faux steelies.

I wonder have they decided to equip it with useful rims or gone with 20"s hewn from solid blocks of ivory.

Color is good.

20" faux steelies per the press release and the configurator on the international site.

I like it but the graphics are pretty unfortunate compared to the old one. I can’t believe the facelift is the new reality. The wheels also look so silly without the plastic thing over the lug nuts and instead with Defender written on them. It’s also still got the square things on the bonnet instead of the chequer. Day ruined

Paint is awesome
I like the black hood (it’s literally the only dumb reason I bought the X)
The rest of it is idk sort of meaningless to my eyes and brain at this time.

Where’s a pic of these new taillights? ! ?
