New Defender - a few questions.
Just got my 2023 yesterday and I have a few questions.
- The Backup camera looks distorted on the sides and at night, there's a lot of lens flare from lights that are in the street. I cleaned the lens - is this normal?
- I tried to set up the Route Planner app and it says that my VIN is invalid. The dealer said that it may take a few days to register, but I set up the Incontrol app with no problem. I've read that Route planner doesn't work with Pivi Pro - is that true or should it work?
- I'm trying to save items in my navigation, but it auto completes some and won't let me use my own name and forces me to use the auto-completed name and it gives me some weird website address attached to the addresses. For example, I was trying to add Mom and it kept auto completing to Moms Restaurant. I finally had to use mom's house, which wasn't a big deal, but it did this with a lot of them and I don't want to do that. Is there a way to turn off that feature? Not to mention, that once I programmed about 10 addresses, when I started the car the next time, they were all gone,

I haven't encountered your first couple of issues but on the last one with the missing saved addresses, are you sure you're logged in to incontrol? It's not always obvious that you're not. You can also set it up with a PIN if your password, like mine, is phone-generated and impossible to remember.
