I wish they'd offer this with something other than a V8. I know this is supposed to be the top-of-the-line limited model and I'm sure most people purchasing it wouldn't get it any other way, but for me the I6 has plenty of power but could always get better with suspension upgrades.

Wow, that top gear article is about as informative as we've come to expect.

Guessing this is the start of the BMW V8 being used in the Defender. We traded-in my wife's X5 M50i for a second Defender. That BMW V8 is just a beast.

An even more over priced Defender. I don't see how you price this similar to a G63 without some really serious upgrades to the interior.

Let me guess

Big alloys
No sidewall
Lots of shiny exterior trim/body kit
More grunt
More interior luxury

I'm sure the folks at Urban will have the black paint, 23" rims and spoiler kits at the ready.

The photos arae of course not very detailed but it appears to be the same style as the present Defender. In other words, those that have been mumbling about a refresh for 25 maybe unfounded. Just the way it looks to me. Anyone see something different?

not just the bmw v8 but the M5 CS engine. If anything expect a price close to 200k just like the Sport SV.

we have a new sport v8 at home. it is a far superior engine and have had several BMW M’s with the same engine. more power, torque, and better mpg

Looks like gold and carbon fibre are a recurring theme — new seats as well.
