Default New Message ( for me )

Greetings everyone
Not sure what exactly this entails, but maybe some one has seen this before and have an idea what it means ?
Any help would be appreciated.

The car did not show any signs of malfunction, and I have noticed the messages only before I stopped it.
Thank you again.

I don't know what it means but I'd say it's always a GOOD thing if a speed limiter fails (assuming you haven't given the truck to a valet. )

When that happens, and you see a valet driving my Defender, call the cops... I am probably dead in the trunk - LOL

Nobody drives it really.... and I am pampering this thing .... probably that's why ?

Nope. Never seen that one. WHAT DOES IT SAY TO THE RIGHT ON THE SCREEN (THE PART YOU DON'T SHOW)?

It means the cruise control (the second button push of cruise which lights the LIM icon on the dash and on the steering wheel) which is often selected off-road (it works on-road at speed as well, but seems a senseless use of the brakes IMO) and automatically brakes the vehicle as it controls the throttle, is not in service.

It's possible that maybe the LIM feature is not included in all purchase configurations of the DEFENDER ? It can also mean that a speed sensor is not functioning properly, or some issue has arisen in the automatic braking system -- but I suppose you would receive warnings the DCS is not available, as well.

Also, if your wheel spin slippage exceeds a certain amount, the system will disable the use of auto braking. Can happen when off-road driving aggressively.

On the right side, is my log in to "in control " - not related to this message.
This showed up after a 80 miles trip on highway.
When I got the vehicle I got this feature too.... and yes, at one point I tried it out and worked (if this refers to hill descent control).
Very odd ...

i had this pop up the other morning out of nowhere as well. i clicked the X to make it go away. hasn't shown up again since and have had no other warnings, etc. i chalked it up to some kind of hiccup with the normal startup procedure, but who knows?

You will get this message when certain conditions are not met, as noted in the pic below. It also says it will not be available when the Speed Limit Sign Recognition is not able to recognize signage. It’s possible one or more of those conditions were present to cause that message to be displayed.

OK, so the message came back again today.
Whenever this is happening ( or when I see it ) I am stopped, either a parking lot, or at home, and the vehicle is either starting, or stopping ( after a trip, or about to start the day).
I got an appointment with the dealer anyways. Not sure if it is a bad sensor or something else.
