Default New roof rack options?

Anybody tried the Mule Ultra or Off-road Animal roofracks yet? They seem to be lower profile and better looking than some of the more common options on the market.

Specifically wondering about wind noise compared to the OEM or front runner racks.

That rack looks badass! Great looking bumpers too.

The Mule Ultra website is not showing any racks for the Defender.

Thanks for the link. No wonder I could not see it as it is on a completely different site. I wonder if newdefender mods has exclusive selling rights.

Recently purchased the low mount roof rack for defender and have crazy loud noise when over 50mph. vibration is almost unbearable and have to crack sunroof or draft behind a car in front of me to go anywhere fast. anyone else having similar issue or has anyone found a quiet solution for a roof rack? only need to use it a handful of times for kayaks only so crossbars would work too.

Honestly the front runner short rack that attaches to the factory rails isn’t too bad for wind noise. No whistling or vibration at all.

does anyone have or maybe they've tried this roof rack before? looks good but comes with a warning for noise vibration above 80km/h, sounds like from complaints before i guess..

Any noise from the cross bars?

just need to carry many surfboards at times..

Nothing very noticeable on crossbars. Easy to put on/take off for occasional/seasonal use. Dealer may let you try them out.

I have found that the OEM roof rack- even though there are better looking racks out there- is the best when it comes to wind noise. I never experienced any vibrations with the OEM rack.
