What is the name of that base plate, and did you get it from Amazon ?
Is the mounting 1:1 ?

I like the look of the dash plate where did you get it from? I had to resort to this kind of mount as I couldn't find anything else at the time

Great. You're going to block a good portion of your view out of the windscreen with an iPad. Sounds safe.
