Hi, I just picked up a 2020 defender 110. Are all defender came with CarPlay as standard? I couldn’t connect mine and also can’t find the CarPlay feature in car connectivity as well. The software also upgraded to the latest 3.0 version. Been hard resetting the infotainment for many time still no luck.
Did you try plugging the phone in? 2020s had no wireless CarPlay as standard but are 'supposed' to be retrofitted with the latest software update. Land rover electronics are a nightmare, my infotainment won't update at all for some reason.

link your phone, turn on wifi and BT to use carplay. the 3.0 software is the one with wireless carplay.
What I am trying to convey to the OP is that wireless CarPlay was not included when a 2020 was bought new. It came via a software update (many 2020 owners still don't have it, myself included)
The pivi software has been updated to 3.0 already but i still can't use wireless/wired carplay even with usb plugged in. Btw, i didn't see the phone setting tabs to activate carplay like this yt video on my car.

FYI: on my 2020, which had wireless CarPlay working perfectly from the update in Dec to January -- about 1.5 weeks ago, CarPlay (wired and wireless) completely stopped working. Phone is configured properly, Pivi is configured properly. Phone deleted/repaired/etc. Triple checked everything,. Dealer doesn't know why. Two iPhones doing the same thing.
Just got a 2020 110 defender S and i seem to be having issues with the carplay option?
Initial tested with apple usb cable then also apple usb-c nothing triggers the carplay option, does this on another Land Cruiser 2021 i have easily.
Am i doing something wrong? or is this actually a case of a S trim not having this at all?
Yeah, we r in the same boat. I actually look up the build sheet of my car. It indicates that my car doesn't come with carplay/android auto as an option. I'm pretty sure it can be activated in some ways.
No CarPlay or Android auto on MY2020
