I’m looking to configure or buy a p400 with some specific options. However, when I look at configuring online the 2021 P400 only offers an SE option and not a HSE. It seems ridiculous that I can’t get full leather seats in a high end vehicle like this.

 

They want you to spend another 20k and buy a Range Rover.

 

Ridiculous. I jus had to move up to get a Dynamic-X HSE to get leather that was mostly leather. $81k later. So stupid.

I saw that. Any difference between building a 2020 vs 2021 pr400?

 

There are a few extra color options for 2021. I think the skin pan, grill bar, and badging is a more similar color to the X line in the 2021 x dyn. hse (JLR says its satin silicon color). The 2020 HSE you could have ordered the black pack which you cant on the 2021 equivalent.

Not sure if anyone has had any of the a pillar issues on a 2021. 2020 models have some issue there.

As far as I am aware the differences are minor. If you really want full leather and can find an 2020 hse that fits your spec you can probably get a better relative deal.

 

@Bukmar This really annoyed me too. I ended up ordering a 2021 D110 with the partial leather seats because building a 2020 with full leather was no longer an option by the time I went to the dealership in November. In addition, because I got tan seats, fabric stains from water or other liquids may be an issue as others have reported in these forums. This would be less of a concern with the full leather. In lieu of getting seat protectors (why would I cover those beautiful seats with a cheap cover?), I've invested in some good fabric protectant for the seats and interior trim.

I predict Land Rover will bring the full leather back in 2022. Just my luck!

 

I am fine with ebony interior (to avoid stains),but my wife prefers lighter interiors...so I am stuck with full leather seats.
