Default Will these fit?

Does anyone have experience with 275/50/22s on the vehicle? I have a V8 and I'm looking to put snow tires on.

My previous 20" options are rapidly growing in cost and the 22" I thought would work (285/45/22), doesn't have a high enough load rating. This other size would make my life easier, but I'm very unsure about it fitting.

I went with 275/55/20 Falken AT4W LT kind of wish I went with the 265/65but I dont have any complaints hard to post pics at work due to firewalls and such. Also went with OEM black lug nuts and all black center caps the silver ring was annoying, and black valve caps. Ill get some pics over the weekend.

Congrats!

Sounds great, looking forward to your pics.
What load range did you get. Are they the P265/55R20 XL 117 load range or the LT275/55R20 load range D versions.

My original tire order is likely to be a bust, so I am more then likely going to end up re-ordering the same tires you went with.
Either that or I possibly finding a set of the AT3W ATs. Which is what I thought I ordered but I am now 90 % sure they are going to get returned, I think they misrepresented them in their add and are actaully shipping At3W As not At3W ATs.

I am still kicking around the idea of the AT4W in the P285/55R20 just that it is not 11.2 wide as the 285 suggest its spec has it at 11.7 wide. That added width combined with my new +30 offset rims, I am bit concerned about that 285 poking out on the front fenders, but I might just have to try it and see.

If anyone is interested in what the factory spec is on the OEM 22" Wheel and tire option here is the exact Continental tire spec that comes on the Defenders optioned with 22" rims.
I would say the key info there when making choices to change tire sizes is the OEM tire on these is 31.7" tall and the section width is 10.7" tread width 9".
Also note; the tread depth is only 9/32". That is some really shallow tread, likely caused by that crazy high 168 mph speed rating.
The other thing I found a bit odd really is that the OEM tire is classed as an XL Extra Load but it only has a 112 Load index, which is less than most SL (Standard load) rate tires.
Most XLs are 117 or higher. I have seen a lot of SL rated tires come in with a 115 load index rating.

New Octa Wheel and tire project completed today.

New 20x9 ET 30+ wheels and P275/55R20
Falken AT3W AT tires all installed.

Rides a little smoother and I swear these tires are quieter the stock 22" highway tires, which sort of surprised me.
Tires are 31.9 x 11.1
No cutting.
No rubbing.
No poke.
Near flush in stance.
No problems at all clearing the P275/55R20 Falken Wildpeak At3W AT tires.
Also worth noting, this wheel seems to be pretty much an OEM rim, right down to using the same unusual lug nut design that I order from Lucky 8 in black.
Also, the OEM LR center caps fit these rims.

Worth a Note: The Falken tires I went with had a real spec of closer to a 285 wide tire or 11.1" wide where a 275 is typically only 10.8 Wide.
