Default Oil Gauge

This is so freakin elementary or should be. I have a 2020 LandRover Defender. I can’t find the oil gauge anywhere to see the electronic oil level. Where the heck is it.

There isn't one on the defender it is old school dip stick readings. The dip stick on the P400 is drivers side and has a yellow handle

The Owners Manual addresses all of these issues. It’s good reading. While waiting months for my delivery, I downloaded the digital version of the manual and read it in its entirety. I knew more about the vehicle than the salesman by the time I picked it up.

Thank goodness my 2020 Defender P300 has a real dipstick !

My LR4s do not and there is a nascent, lurking repair issue which could arise at anytime regarding the fixing of a failed oil level sensor in the LR4. This is one of three very significant repair time bombs within each LR4 (I will not bore Defender owners with the list of the others)

see video attached. It is a fun one -- reality begins at the 17:00 time .....
