Opinions on the ClearSight Mirror
Drove 7+ hours tonight from late afternoon to almost midnight. Realized another benefit to the ClearSight mirror.
If you've got passengers in the back with electronic devices (say two kids with iPads), the amount of light they generate can prevent a traditional mirror from working, but not the ClearSight.
It was a couple of hours after the sun went down before I even realized how bright it was in the back seat. But I could still see traffic behind me free of that light pollution.

Actually on topic. The fact that it's an option on some trim levels was the reason for this thread.
Interesting ... I never noticed it when I was going through the options. Is it actually called clear sight ground mirror ?
I recall the ground view cameras are marketed as "'clear sight", I recall. One can see the confusion marketing might cause by using the same term for a standard feature (ground cameras) and an option one (rear view mirror).
I'm clueless this morning (more than usual).
I love it...one of the best options. I didn't find that it took any time to adjust to using the clearsight...it was love at first (clear)sight! I do wish that it could be adjusted to show a slightly lower angle view.
