Order a D110 and who would purchase again
6 months into owning my 23.5 D110 P300 that I ordered.
Love it, 10/10 woukd buy again. I DD mine and find it to be a great road trip/commuter vehicle that is as equally capable on I5 or twisty backroads as it is offroad.
Not very common (still haven't seen another Godwana Stone in the wild), very customizable /personalizable. Very frequently get comments/questions.
Only issue with mine is the occasional black screen (random, goes away at next start cycle) and sticky back door (dealer TB to fix, but not enough of a hassle for me to take it in--when/if I have a real problem I'll get it fixed at the same time). If I wanted a vehicle with no problems I'd buy a boring practical car like my wife's Outback.

Already purchased again. After driving my Defender a few times my wife wanted to keep it and give me her X5 M50i to drive. I drove the X5 for a month before I decided to order another Defender to replace the X5.
First LR product for me. 38,000 miles on 2022 110 P400 X-Dynamic SE. It’s been back to the dealer 3 times now, none of them the truck’s fault, unless you count “weak-*** windshield” as the truck’s fault, which I suppose you should.
I’ve had done or done a bit of customizing for off-road capability and, coming from the Jeep world and still owning a 2-door Wrangler, the cost of doing any aftermarket work on this thing is staggering. Winch tray, rear brake calipers to allow for 18” wheels, plus the full slate of factory off-roading options make for a pretty expensive Rubicon alternative.

I wouldn't buy it to replace a jeep (I have a built CJ7), but I absolutely would buy another, and buy it exactly how I configured mine; a 110X w 20" rims. It's the woman's car, but we've taken it on three 2000 mile trips with two dogs and it travels great... no need to worry about what you might run into road or trail-wise unless you're really wheelin'. Came out of a Mercedes SUV, to a Range Rover sport, to this. It was only rumored of when I got a great deal on the RR, and is a much more usable vehicle maintaining comfort and ride. I've had zero issues but highly recommend the longest extended warranty you can justify just so you cut down on surprises if you keep it for a while
Hey, new member here. I’m looking at ordering a 2024 D110 X Dynamic in Tasman Blue. I test drove one a couple months ago and absolutely loved it.. I was contemplating a GX550 but I really love the ride of the D110 and the air suspension. I haven’t test drove a GX550 but the looks of the Defender and the ride really have me leaning towards the LR.
I’d like to know the positive experiences people have had with their Defenders. I’m familiar with forums and the can be places where people post their gripes and complaints. I’d like to know how many people have had positive experiences and would purchase again. It doesn’t matter which model (D90, 110, 130).
Thanks and advice on ordering would be greatly appreciated.

3+ years with my 110. Would definitely purchase again. Best driving vehicle on multiple surfaces that I've ever owned. An amazing highway cruiser for family trips, and surefooted in all conditions. Only real issue I've had is with the fragile windshield. If you look through this forum, you'll see it's definitely a weak point. Mine was fine until I increased my highway miles. I've had numerous dings filled in the past couple years and now looking at my second replacement.
8 months and 15k miles into my new MY23.5 D90S and I would (and will!) buy another here in a year or two. The P300 motor is adequate but I will move on to the P400 i6 next time. I dolled mine up with "Vintage tan Windsor leather", all the bells and whistles.
Probably do 20" wheels next time, the supposed upgrade path for 19" ones never happened.

Custom ordered my 23.5 P300 to the nines (Vintage Tan, All packages, air supension etc etc) and have 10k miles on it now. Still loving it as my daily driver. I tend to buy cars often (every 1.5-2 years) and had a Tesla S, Porsche Macan, and Full Size Range Rover preceding the Defender and it's right up there with the Range Rover for me. Regarding reliability ALL cars have their own issues. I've been stranded by the Tesla and surprisingly the Porsche and a Toyota which both rank high in JD Power Reliability. Only other cars i've looked into getting into is the G63 which lacks the space the Defender has, or maybe the V8 Defender.
