I placed my order in the end of October. My dealer said that they only got allocated 6cyl slots and mine is a 4. They hope to have 4 cyl allocations next month. Does this sound accurate?
they still are promising me delivery in April….
Reached out to my SA and asked if my dates were populated got this reply: "Not yet, just waiting for the slot which is imminent. Will let you know as soon as the slot gets assigned (your order is not in the pool status anymore)."
So sounds like I officially have an allocation! Feels like forever ago when I first submitted a deposit.

The bit about no allocations for 4 cylinder builds sounds accurate, but you're not getting a vehicle in April. My dealer also doesn't have any P300 allocations, but they got a handful of 6 cylinder P400 slots, of which mine was in there. My vehicle is slated for a July-ish delivery. Seems they're running at ~7 months for builds after the order is accepted.
The lines fill in like this, naturally not all worked out to this plan. The car is on the boat docking on the 25th. I suspect a few days to truck it to the dealer and glue on the other stuff. I feel lucky, everything I ordered was included, except for the activity key, which I got on ebay for $70.
For the most part. The delivery is a bit behind. It had to swing on the hook outside the canal for a few days. I think they delayed the canal transits due to the tsunami and it just backed everything up a bit. So it is off the coast of Baja California as we speak.
Well I was perhaps a bit too optimistic. I got a note back from the dealer this evening, and he said that it will be about three weeks from docking to delivery. So it looks like I’ll get it around 15 February.

Yea, I import containers frequently into the US. Before the pandemic you were looking at roughly 1 week from the time the ship docks to going through customs. CA ports have been in bad shape for a while, 3-4 weeks sounds about right.

I heard exactly the same 2 weeks ago. Fingers crossed but other posts in the 2022 threads also mention something about no P300's being allocated for 2022. I'm hoping that's wrong.
