OS 3.3.1 update impacts driveability
I released my 2020 110 P300 vehicle this morning to utilize the system changes in OS 3.3.1. This is an upgrade of driveline, gearbox, suspension, and engine control actions (or so I surmised from the description) -- none of the PIVI-type' internet,, new-fangled, remote control, computerized display, etc. stuff. It is the first one of this type I can recall receiving.
The 3.3.1 update holds drivability changes which will impact owners across multiple products, in both LR and Jaguar.
Please use this thread to share any drivability changes you notice. I hope the update is positive, or at least neutral, and is not negative to the Defender's off-road capability.
Enjoy !
Saw this for the first time this morning in the Eastern U.S -- Dec 7, 2022.

Only thing I noticed was that it no longer shows instant fuel mileage on the screen but instead shows range to empty... which honestly I don't like as the trip screen already shows that andI can no longer see my instant fuel mileage (which doesn't matter much tbh). I didn't notice anything else.

In Auto mode, I see two things which I believe are new:
1. With driver input on Throttle Lever Angle (TLA) above zero, it appears the up shift point in the middle gears have been increased by 50 rpms (or so?) in certain drivetrain load conditions.
2. With zero TLA and the vehicle coasting and slowing down, it appears the computer is feathering in more fuel (rpms rise a bit) just before each downshift.
I have not yet looked at the other modes.
I suppose JLR decided they did not want to show the instantaneous miles anymore (per bobzdar's post) to have it showing a decrease in mpg prior to each down shift -- or some such marketing-driven nanny idea?
After starting the vehicle post the download, my 4WD screen again showed the shaded error described by several folks on another recent thread. The problem resolved itself by stopping all vehicle activity and then restarting (a computer reboot, I suppose).
Transmission logic changes by data downloads from the clouds. A brave new world .... Enjoy !

You should still be able to cycle through instant mileage, average trip mileage, trip distance, distance-to-empty, today's date, etc. by repeatedly pushing the button at the tip of the turn signal stalk, no? I have mine on range to empty at all time, as I've been known to run out of gas more than once by, uh, pushing the red light envelope...

Edit: that worked so it must have just reset back to default. I think it also reset the driving mode from eco to comfort, but maybe it resets every time it's turned on and I didn't realize it.
