I loved everything my 110X delivers. The only gripe is I wish it would lower automatically after 75 mph. It sits high.

22k mi P400 SE review:

It's spent 2.5 months (out of 18 months of ownership) at the dealer for various issues.
Coolant leak x 2. Broken sunroof (4+ visits all becoming progressively worse/more involved). A pillars falling off x2, installed incorrectly require repainting. Broken air compressor x 2. Heated seat malfunctioning. Infinite rattles.

I test drove all the alternatives but still haven't found anything better. The dealer/techs are incompetent, so this might actually be a dealer rather than car review.

Default Had pe00 for two years

;it’s a love hate relationship..love to drive and in all kinds of conditions. Plenty of acceleration. Love the cameras in 4 wheel low. The adaptive cruise, for the most part, is my fav option. Great dealer and service dept, so that’s a real plus.had two windshields replaced via LR insurance. Had one tire replaced with LR insurance. Seating comfort is great.

now the hate - design reliability first. Driver A pillar cover fell off while driving; B pillars covers both defective and replaced; nd to leave vehicle for almost 3 days to get software qlitch fixed and right software downloaded. Supply chain remains a bitch. Rock broke my sunroof. Waited almost a year to get it replaced. Key fob is the worst I have ever experienced. Put it in the wrong pant pocket and it won’t start.only way to change the auto engine stop is to use the center button every ti,e you turn on the engine.

Default 2020 p400 hse

So I’ve been reading the thread and have to say that I agree with almost everything the other owners have written. The only reason I’m adding to the thread is that my truck just passed 51k miles, which seems like quite a bit more than anyone else’s. Some of the issues I’ve had are:
Minor software glitches, mostly radio related.
The A pillar wind noise issue.
The felt lining on the front passenger wheel well ripped.
Rear drivers side door gasket doesn’t fit correctly and causes door to stick sometimes.
Apple car play doesn’t always work.
I’m on my third set of 19” tires (started with the all season Pirellis but since then have gone with the Goodyear DuraTracs -because they look like proper tires on the truck).
I just opted for the extended warranty at the dealer right before I hit the 50k mark. This was for piece of mind for me and also allows for the truck to be CPO’d if I sell/trade it in to LR. Like a lot of others on the thread, I’m a loyal LR client, as this is my 7th vehicle I’ve owned. I can honestly say that this is by far my favorite LR to drive and it brings a smile to my face every day I get into it.

Just placed my order:

2023 Land Rover Defender SE P400
Carpathian Grey
20" Style 6011, Gloss Black Wheels
Black Exterior Pack
Ebony Morzine Headlining
Premium Interior Protection/Storage Pack Rubber Floor Mats
Air Suspension Pack, Adaptive Dynamics
Solar Attenuating Windshield
Adaptive Cruise Control

Should be arriving in mid-May.

I am looking into MBI from AAA, AllState, Geico, et al, but am going to forgo the up-front extended warranty route.

Probably going to look into tire and wheel insurance, given JPG_91's experience ;-)

Thanks much!

I placed my vote as a BMW while actually I was driving a 2015 Mini Cooper S, a true mini BMW in the best tradition of that marque. And that after 10 years with a 2007 Jeep Wrangler. The Mini was always a riot to drive but I was looking for another 4x4. In 2020 just as the first Defenders were hitting the market I opted to order a 2 door Ford Bronco as the cheaper alternative. Still waiting, waiting, I first ordered a Defender 90 S P300 in October, 2021 but soon changed that to 110 on the basis of more utility and availability of dealer allocations. My 23 P 300 110 arrived four months later in June, 2022. No regrets, and I am happy to report, no issues at over 9K miles.

Default I bite the bullet!

I ordered my D110 in January and picked it up in April. It is awesome. I bought a tire and wheel warranty, but opted out of the extended warranty, as the price tag, over $7,000 for 10 years, seemed a bit excessive. I opted instead to fund a high-growth (well... hopefully high-growth) ETF with $10,000 and am hoping that by the time my 4-year warranty runs out, I will have enough growth beyond my capital to cover any expenses over the next 6 years. I am not sure if that was the wisest move at this moment, as the car is currently in the shop awaiting a new alternator, but, there is a Chinese proverb that says: "No disease, short life. One disease, long life", so I am hopeful that this new alternator will inoculate me against lager, future issues. Regardless, this is my favorite vehicle to date! Thanks!

Almost looks like a matte finish. Nice. Got my 2021 about 2.5 yrs ago with the p400 dynamic X package. Love it on and off road. Did just opt of rthe extended warrantee that takes it to about 115,000 miles. Cost around $5k so not bad. You are probably good to go with the EFT. Best of luck. I love mine.

We bought our HSE P400 in 20 and have absolutely loved it. We've crossed Mountain Passes, tackled Barnwell Mountain OHV park, and Dallas city traffic for 3 years now with no issues. So far it's been close to perfect, save the periodic inconvenience of having to restart pivi pro or reset the sunroof (both easy fixes), and we blew out a Goodyear Wrangler tire our first trip to the mountains (I wanted the BFG K02s anyway). We've towed a travel trailer (pulls a trailer effortlessly, but watch the gas gauge it's a bit thirsty with a trailer) I'm not sure what else we could ask of it.

Do you guys realize if a cheap Toyota Corolla had all these issues owners would be burning down the Headquarters.
Toyota knows this and realize sales would suffer so they build a quality product.
I can picture the bigwigs at LR saying, "Geez, these headlights keep burning out and they are 4k to purchase if not under warranty and not only that we dont have any to replace them with."
Then another guy says "Don't sweat it, they're buying them anyway!"
Then they all laugh.
